Built as a second home by an Italian architect in the 19th century, the building was renovated at the beginning of the 21st century and turned into a Posada. Today, in San Antonio de Areco, it is considered a “place of historic significance”.

The rooms are decorated in classic Italian style and are furnished with antiques, providing you with the opportunity to rest in an atmosphere of serenity and calm. In total, Posada de la Plaza has 10 rooms: 6 doubles, 3 triples and a duplex welcoming up to 4 guests.

In the public areas, gentle classical music plays all day. You’ll be carried away by the harmonious combination of colours and the subtle details of the decor. The winter garden, living room and breakfast room are all pleasant places to enjoy spending time. One of the most unforgettable experiences you can have here is to relax on one of the sun loungers located in the garden with a drink, surrounded by cypress and oak trees.

Breakfast includes an excellent selection of fresh fruit juice, coffee, tea, facturas (pastries), farmhouse bread and homemade cakes…simply delicious.
