Located 113 km away from the stifling capital, several options are available:

By car

From Buenos Aires, the fastest way to get to San Antonio de Areco is by car. Count about 1h30 for the journey. First take the highway “Panamericana”, to join the National Route 9 “Acceso Norte”. Then, when the road doubles, take on the left to join the National Route 8. You then pass through the city of Pilar, and then only, you begin to penetrate the immensities of the Pampa Argentina. You are getting close to San Antonio de Areco! Follow the National Route 8 until km 113, and after a left turn you will reach San Antonio de Areco.

By bus

The most budget-friendly (but a little longer) option is to take the bus, or “micro”, as we say in Argentina! From the Retiro bus station in Buenos Aires, go to the first floor of the terminal to buy your bus ticket. We recommend you to go through the companie Nueva Chevallier – Tel (011) 4000-5255.

You can also buy your ticket online via the company website or visit one of the many points of sale located in the capital. Frequency: about one departure every hour during the day.

It takes approximately two hours to go to San Antonio de Areco by bus.
