1 - Reservations and Payment

Upon confirmation of the stay, the client will be asked to provide the company, as soon as possible, with the following information for each participant: first and last names, nationality and a photocopy of each person’s passport. Areco Tradición cannot be held responsible if the information is submitted late and therefore has an impact on the successful completion of the bookings progress.

When accepting a stay of more than one day, the reservation is effective once the payment of a deposit, usually 50% of the total amount, has been received.

Confirmation of services is subject to availability upon the booking of such services. In the event that one of the Estancias or hotels, proposed in the quote provided, does not have the required availability when the service is booked, reservations for the nights in question will be made in an Estancia or hotel of a similar category. This change may result in a change to the price of the stay, which will be immediately communicated to the customer.

These particular conditions are more likely to apply for trips booked during the high season (extended weekend, carnival, end-of-year celebrations, Festival of Tradition etc.).

2 - Rates

The quoted cost provided for a trip may change due to the frequent fluctuations of different economic conditions in Argentina, in particular the high inflation of our country. It is for this reason that Areco Tradición has decided to no longer advertise trip prices in any of its communications channels. To find out the exact price of the selected trip, it is the customer’s responsibility, before making the reservation, to contact one of our agents or to consult us through the contact form on the website.

3 - Child Discounts

Child discounts apply to the age of the child on the day of the trip:

• Less than 1 year, free.
• From 12 to 35 months, up to 25% of the adult rate.
• From 3 to 11 years, up to 50% of the adult rate.
• + 11 years, full price.

4 - Cancellation and/or Modification of reservation

Our conditions for any cancellation or request to modify a reservation are as follows:

• Cancellations made more than 14 days before the arrival date of passengers: full refund minus administrative costs and any exchange rate changes.
• Cancellation between 14 and 8 days before the date of arrival: refund of 50% of the total bill.
• Cancellation within 7 days of the arrival date: no refund.

Any modifications to the reservation are subject to availability. The company must be notified at least 10 days ahead of the proposed trip.

Important note: Estancias La Bamba and La Sofía have more restrictive conditions than other estancias.  Please contact us in the case that you have a reservation with these Estancias that needs to be modified.

5 - Physical Disabilities

San Antonio de Areco is a town relatively adapted for people with reduced mobility; however it is imperative that you notify us in writing at the time of booking so that we can inform our guides and drivers.

6 - Special Diet

If you are vegetarian, vegan, allergic to gluten or for some other reason your stay requires a special diet, please inform us when booking.

7 - Risks

We make every effort to avoid accidents, however travelers should be aware that some activities undertaken by our travel agency may involve certain risks (road conditions, horseback riding and distance from medical centers etc). Areco Tradición cannot be held responsible in the case of an accident. Each participant must follow the safety advice and rules given verbally, by our coordinators and guides, at the time of the activity. The guides may have to modify the tour program or certain activities planned for the trip, for the safety of participants.

Areco Tradición reserves the right to cancel an excursion the day before the stay, if it considers that the conditions (i.e. climatic) will not be met to ensure a good outcome of the planned activities, or if they entail risks for our customers. In this case, a refund, of up to 100%, net of administrative costs and the exchange rate, will be given.

8 - Theft and Loss

Areco Tradición cannot be held responsible in the case of theft or loss of personal effects during the trip. Baggage and other personal effects remain the responsibility of each traveler.
